From attending an informal meeting with Emily Bastow a few weeks back to assess my working direction; herself and Helen Christmas have given me a service which in my opinion has been second to none, phone calls to give progression updates, letters sent out, several interviews, and most of all a friendly professional service. Jonathan White & Company is a busy ever expanding accountancy practice based in the Leeds area. Like all accountants, we experience workload bottlenecks in the month of January caused by HM Revenue & Customs desire that 5.8Million tax returns be submitted on or before the 31st January(…) As a result of the above, we as a practice do our best to plan and co-ordinate the heavy workflow to ensure as many tax returns as possible meet this deadline. In early 2007 we had planned for the additional minor inconvenience caused by one of our staff members requiring time off(…) and also someone calling in sick on Wednesday 25 January with only 4 working days to the deadline and a huge backlog of letters to do. With a minor crisis on our hands we contacted LCA Resourcing on the Thursday morning. With almost magical skills and particularly comforting communications, they liaised with our offices and arranged for a secretary to start with us on Friday. The secretary supplied was little short of fantastic, helping us by typing in excess of 200 letters almost perfectly. In addition to the above, having seen the pressures we were under, she agreed to work extra hours at the weekend which I believe was beyond the call of duty.
